Opening Ceremony on the occasion of 60th Anniversary of Thai-Australian Diplomatic Relations
On 2 February 2012, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow over the Opening Ceremony of the 60th Anniversary of Thai-Australian Diplomatic Relations at Vithes Samosorn, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Present were Australian Ambassador James Wise, as well as those involved in promoting Thai-Australian relations, be they from the public and private sectors, diplomatic corps, academic circle, as well as the general public at large.
The Signing of the Treaty between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Korea on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons and on Co-operation in the Enforcement of Penal Sentence
On the occasion of the official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand of Mr. KWON Jae-Jin, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Korea, during 2-4 February 2012, Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul and Mr. KWON Jae-Jin signed the Treaty between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Korea on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons and on Co-operation in the Enforcement of Penal Sentences on 2 February 2012 at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Thank you and Keep going, Japan Thailand” Campaign :
On 2 February 2012, Mr. Seiji Kojima, Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, together with Mr. Torajiro Ohashi, President of the Japanese community in Thailand and Vice-Chairman of the Campaign “Arigatou and Ganbarou Nippon and Thailand” (Thank You and Keep Going, Japan and Thailand) presented the donation of 203,860 baht from organizing the “Arigatou and Ganbarou Nippon and Thailand” Campaign to Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to help the flood victims in Thailand.
