Social & Cultural News : The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Dubai welcomed the Thai national futsal team completing in the AFC Futsal Championship 2012
During 24 May - 1 June 2012 the Royal Thai Consulate-General,
On 24 May 2012, H.E. Mr. Chalotorn Phaovibul, Consul-General of Thailand to Dubai at that time, hosted dinner in honour of the Thai futsal team and used the opportunity to congratulate the team for their effort and wished them all the best with the tournament. In addition, the president of the department of futsal development presented flag and pins of the futsal association to the Consul-General and delegates as a token of appreciation.
On 31 May 2012, Mr. Fabio Chinda, Deputy Consul-General Acting Consul-General, and Team Thailand, hosted dinner for the Thai futsal team at the Consul-General Residence to congratulate the team on their 4 straight wins in the tournament against Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, UAE and Iran respectively, as well as for qualifying in the final against Japan. The Deputy Consul-General presented a token of appreciation to the team and wished them luck in the final.
