    On 25 May 2017, Thailand as Chair of Foreign Policy and Global Health Initiative (FPGH) and its members comprised of Brazil, France, Norway, Indonesia, Senegal and South Africa joined hands with Japan, the Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Iran organized a seminar on “Addressing the Health of the Most Vulnerable for Inclusive Society” on the margin of the 70th World Health Assembly in Geneva. The side event was moderated by H.E. Mr. Sek Wannamethee, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva and the keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Timothy Evans, Senior Director, Health, Nutrition & population Global Practice, World Bank.

    On 31 May 2017, H.E. Bhakavat Tanskul, Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal witnessed the MoU Signing Ceremony between Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) and Nepal Education Foundation Consortium of Colleges in Nepal (NEF-CNN) at Radisson hotel. Ambassador Tanskul gave a speech portraying Thailand’s consistent role in providing scholarships for trainings and degree programs to Nepal and congratulating both private organizations for their success in establishing a new education network through their prospective exchange programs of scholars and students, which will allow Nepali students to learn more about international programs at Thai universities and choose Thailand as their study destination. The presence of Ambassador Tanskul at this Ceremony helped to grace the relations between PIM and NEF-CNN and reflected the importance the Royal Thai Government attaches to the increasing potentials and global reputation of Thai institutions.
