Social & Cultural News : Australia-Thailand Association (Canberra) Loy Krathong Dinner

          On 26 November 2017, Mrs. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., Royal Thai Embassy, together with the Embassy’s officials attended the Australia-Thailand Association (Canberra) – ATA “Loy Krathong Dinner” at Thai Urban Restaurant. About 90 guests participated in this event, namely Mrs. Natsuda Pittman, President of ATA, the ATA Committee Members, and Thai community in Canberra. There were varieties of activities such as Thai classical music performed by a group of Thai children in Canberra, Thai traditional dances, and float the krathong.
          On this occasion, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. thanked ATA for its active role in promoting friendships among the Thais and Australians and the relationship between Thailand and Australia as well as its continued support for the Embassy’s activities and events.  She also invited ATA’s members and their families to participate in the Embassy’s major upcoming activities, including 1) the 22th National Multicultural Festival in Canberra on 17 February 2018 and 2) ATA-Thai Students BBQ Dinner at the Embassy next year.
