His Majesty the King on the Occasion of the 60th Anniversary Celebration of
His Majesty's Accession to the Throne
at the Boromrajasathitmaholarn Hall

Your Majesties,
Your Royal Highnesses,
Your Highnesses,
Your Serene Highnesses,

The Queen and I are most pleased and proud to have the opportunity of welcoming the Monarchs and Members of the Royal Families from all over the world to the Banquet tonight. We wish to express our most sincere thanks to each and every one of You for honouring us with your gracious goodwill and friendship here. Together with the Government and the Thai people, I regard your participation in these celebrations as an auspicious sign of true friendship and goodwill. Your presence is highly significant and should be recorded in the annals of history, because it is the first time that the Monarchs and Members of the Royal Families have gathered together in Thailand. This will surely be another important factor which will help to nature and further strengthen the relationship, friendship, and cooperation among Royal Houses and Kingdoms.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish to invite you all to join me in a toast to the good health and happiness of Monarchs and Members of the royal Families, who have come from afar, as well as to wish their Kingdoms and peoples everlasting progress and prosperity.
