It is with great pleasure that I write to you on the auspicious occasion of the Sixtieth Anniversary of your elevation to the Throne of the Kingdom of Thailand. I extend to you my heartfelt congratulations. In so doing I also join with all the citizens of your noble nation in recognizing the many blessings you have received over these last six decades, and in expressing appreciation of the loving service you have rendered to all your subjects through your assiduous care to promote unity, religious tolerance and compassion for the poor. Upon Your Majesty and the members of the Royal Family I cordially invoke a continued abundance of divine blessings.
