1952 was the pivotal year. In that year, he began experimenting with new agricultural techniques in the grounds of his Chitralada Villa, Dusit Palace. About the same time, he became engaged in a farm produce project just beyond the perimeter of his ancestral summer home in Hua Hin. Both would shape the way he would approach rural development. |
