| The Royal
Thai Government is organizing a number of ceremonies
and events as part of the celebrations to honour His
Majesty on the auspicious occasion of the Anniversary
of His Majesty’s Coronation, Tuesday 5 May 2009.
Activities will be arranged in different locations
at the Royal Plaza, along Ratchadamnoen Avenue and
Sanam Luang, starting from 1700 hours till midnight.
They include merit-making, exhibitions on His Majesty
the King’s multi-faceted works, as well as live
stage entertainment, including plays and musical performances.
Similar activities will also be arranged in other
provinces throughout the country. The Royal Thai Government
will also host an official reception at Government
House at 1800 hours.
The formal ceremony, to be held at the Royal Plaza,
will be chaired by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva
and attended by members of the Cabinet, civil servants,
representatives from provincial and local administrations,
students and the public.

on Tuesday 5 May 2009 at the Royal Plaza, Bangkok.
Proceedings of the Ceremony
to

- Public gather at the Royal Plaza,
Sanam Luang and seven other stages set up along
Ratchadamnoen Avenue and pay homage to His Majesty
the King in accordance with Thai tradition.
- Live entertainment commences.

| 2000 hrs. |
- Prime Minister, as Chairperson of the Ceremony,
arrives at the Royal Plaza.
- Minister of Interior reports on the arrangements
of the ceremony.
- Prime Minister and representatives from central
and provincial administrations pay homage to His
Majesty the King in accordance with Thai tradition.
- Prime Minister leads officials, private sector
representatives and the public in taking oaths
of allegiance.
- Participants sing the Tribute to the King and
the Royal Anthem.
- End of the formal ceremony.

public and private sectors, continues until midnight.
