On 19 September 2011 the Royal Thai Embassy, along with the Thai community in Jordan, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Thai -Jordan Friendship Forest. The project is an coopertive effrot between the Department of Forestry of the Ministry of Agriculture of Jordan and the Royal Thai Embassy and is established to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the 84th Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, as well as to commemorate the genuine ties of frienship between Jordan and Thailand.
