เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ ที่ 10 เมษายน 2554 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้จัดงานเลี้ยงสังสรรค์และกิจกรรมด้านวัฒนธรรมเนื่องในโอกาสวันเทศกาลสงกรานต์หรือปีใหม่ของไทยประจำปี 2554 On Sunday 10th April 2011, the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi organized a celebration for Songkran Festival (Water Festival celebrating the Thai New Year 2011).

เมื่อวันอังคาร ที่ 19 ตุลาคม 2553 นายโฆษิต ฉัตรไพบูรณ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้เดินทางไปยังกรุงบุจุมบุระ สาธารณรัฐบุรุนดี เพื่อเป็นผู้แทนรัฐบาลไทยในการมอบเครื่องจักรและอุปกรณ์การผลิตขาเทียมให้แก่กระทรวงกลาโหมและทหารผ่านศึก สาธารณรัฐบุรุนดี โดยโครงการดังกล่าวเป็นคิดริเริ่มและความร่วมมือระหว่างสำนักงานความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนา (สพร.) กระทรวงการต่างประเทศกับมูลนิธิขาเทียมในสมเด็จพระศรีนครินทราบรมราชชนนี On Tuesday 19th October 2010, H.E.Mr. Kosit Chatpaiboon, Ambassador-designate of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Burundi was present and participated in the Donation Ceremony of the Prosthesis Producing Equipments from the Government of Thailand to the Government of the Burundi, Bujumbura, Republic of Burundi.

เมื่อวันพุธที่ 17 มีนาคม 2553 ระหว่างเวลา 12.00 - 14.30 น. สมาคมภริยาเอกอัครราชทูตเอเชียในกรุงไนโรบีได้ร่วมกันจัดงานเทศกาลอาหารเอเชีย ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตอินเดียประจำเคนยา โดยมีสถานเอกอัครราชทูตประเทศในเอเชียร่วมสมทบอาหารรวมทั้งสิ้น 10 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต อาทิ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตจีน อินเดีย ญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ ไทย มาเลเซีย เป็นต้น On Wednesday 17th March 2010, from 12.00 14.30 hrs., Asian Ambassador Spouses Association organized the Asian Food Bazaar at the Indian High Commissioners Residence on Muthaika Road. Ten Asian embassies and high commissions namely Kuwait, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, China, Sri Lanka, and Thailand all contributed traditional cuisines for sale.

เมื่อวันเสาร์ที่ 12 กันยายน 2552 พระเจ้าหลานเธอ พระองค์เจ้าพัชรกิติยาภา ทรงประทานพระวโรกาสให้ชุมชนไทยในเคนยาและข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี เข้าเฝ้า ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ในการนี้ ทรงมีพระปฏิสันถารกับชุมชนไทยและทรงประทานพระอนุญาตให้ถ่ายรูปร่วมกับพระองค์ On Saturday 12 September 2009, HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha granted an audience to the Thai community and Royal Thai Embassys staff during the luncheon hosted at Thai Ambassadors residence. HRH had a brief conversation and took a group photo with the Thai community. There were about 45 Thai nationals present at the residence.
เมื่อวันเสาร์ ที่ 8 สิงหาคม 2552 ซึ่งตรงกับวันครบรอบการก่อตั้งสมาคมประชาชาติเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ หรือ อาเซียน (ASEAN) ปีที่ 42 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซียในฐานะประธานกลุ่มอาเซียนในเคนยาประจำปีนี้ ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอาเซียนอื่นๆ ได้แก่ ฟิลิปปินส์ มาเลเซีย และไทย ได้จัดงาน ASEAN Family Gathering ขึ้น ณ ทำเนียบเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซียประจำเคนยา On Saturday 8th August 2009 which marks the 42nd anniversary of the establishment of Association of Southeast Asian Nations ASEAN, the Indonesian Embassy as ASEAN Chair in Kenya, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Philippines, the High Commission of Malaysia, and the Royal Thai Embassy, co-organized the ASEAN Family Gathering 2009 at the Indonesian Ambassadors Residence.
เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2552 นายอภิชิต อสัตถวาสี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี เป็นผู้แทนรัฐบาลไทยบริจาคยาและเวชภัณฑ์จำนวน 20 กล่อง ซึ่งได้รับการจัดสรรจากงบประมาณกระทรวงการต่างประเทศให้แก่ ผู้แทนสหภาพแอฟริกาในโซมาเลีย (African Union Mission for Somalia - AMISOM) โดยไทยเป็นประเทศที่สองที่ตอบสนองต่อการขอรับความช่วยเหลือของ AMISOM อย่างรวดเร็ว On 29th July 2009, H.E. Mr. Apichit Asatthawasi, Ambassador of Thailand, donated medical supplies to the African Union Mission for Somalia (AMISOM), at a presentation held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi. The medical supplies are to be used to replenish the medical supplies for AMISOM field hospitals as well as support the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia.
เมื่อวันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม 2552 ที่ผ่านมา นายอภิชิต อสัตถวาสี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี พร้อมด้วยนายภาณุพันธ์ โชติรังสียากุล เลขานุการโท สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้เดินทางเข้าร่วมการประชุมสุดยอดเซเชลส์ ครั้งที่ 1 (Seychelles Forum) โดยเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับมอบหมายให้เข้าร่วมการประชุมแทนนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งได้รับเชิญจากประธานาธิบดีและรัฐบาลเซเชลส์ On 18 May 2009, H.E.Mr.Apichit Asatthawasi, acommpanied by Mr. Panupan Chotirangsiyakun, Second Secretary, the Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi, attended the Seychelles Forum on behalf of the Prime Minister of Thailand. The Forum was organized by the government of the Republic of Seychelles in a bid to appraise its development partners on the status of the on-going reform programme, goals and targets for the short and medium term and also exchanges views on issues related to the rejuvenating of the Seychelles economy.
เมื่อวันอาทิตย์ที่ 12 เมษายน 2552 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ได้จัดงานเทศกาลสงกรานต์ปีใหม่ไทย มีแขกทั้งชาวไทยที่อยู่อาศัยและทำงานในกรุงไนโรบี และชาวต่างประเทศอีกจำนวนหนึ่ง รวมประมาณ 60 คนเข้าร่วม โดยพิธีเริ่มเวลา 12.00 น. ด้วยการสรงน้ำพระพุทธรูป รดน้ำดำหัวผู้ใหญ่ ชมการแสดงแบบไทย และรับประทานอาหารกลางวันร่วมกัน ปิดท้ายด้วยการละเล่นสาดน้ำด้วยความสุขใจ On Sunday, 12th April 2009, from 12.00 18.00 hrs, the Thai citizens in Nairobi celebrated the Songkran Festival. The festival was hosted by H.E. Mr. Apichit Asatthawasi, Ambassador of Thailand, and his wife, Mrs. Saisamorn Asatthawasi. It was attended by over sixty (60) Thai citizens and foreign nationals.
เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดี ที่ 26 มีนาคม 2552 เวลา 11.30 น. คุณชาญ คติวรเวช ผู้จัดการพัฒนาธุรกิจในแอฟริกา แผนกการต่างประเทศ บริษัทค้าสากลซิเมนต์ไทย จำกัด ได้มอบเงินบริจาคจำนวน 12,880 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ในนามของบริษัทฯ ให้แก่รัฐบาลสาธารณรัฐบุรุนดี โดยมีนายอภิชิต อสัตถวาสี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี ซึ่งมีเขตอาณาครอบคลุมประเทศบุรุนดีเป็นผู้รับมอบและจะส่งมอบเงินบริจาคจำนวนดังกล่าวให้รัฐบาลบุรุนดีในโอกาสที่เหมาะสมต่อไป On Thursday, 26 March 2009 at 11.30hrs, Mr. Charn Khativoravej, SCT Africa Manager, Overseas Division, SCT Co., Ltd donated Twelve Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty US dollars only ($12,880), on behalf of SCT Co., Ltd, to the Government of the Republic of Burundi. The donation was made to H.E. Mr. Apichit Asatthawasi, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to the Republic of Burundi. His Excellency Ambassador will in turn forward the donation to the Government of Burundi.
เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 13 มีนาคม 2552 นายอภิชิต อสัตถวาสี เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงไนโรบี พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้ร่วมบริจาคเงินจำนวน 250,000 เคนยาชิลลิง ให้แก่โรงเรียน Dagoretti Corner Primary School เพื่อใช้สอยในกิจการของนักเรียน On Friday, 13 March 2009 at 10.30hrs, H.E. Mr. Apichit Asatthawasi, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Kenya, presented a financial donation of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Kenya Shillings only (Kshs.250,000) to Dagoretti Corner Primary School, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government. His Excellency the Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Akavuth Chitapatima, Counsellor and Mr. Panupan Chotirangsiyakun, Third Secretary.
