เมื่อวันที่ 18 มิ.ย. 2553 ออท. ณ กรุงอาบูดาบี ร่วมกับนายปราโมทย์ ทรัพย์เย็น ผู้อำนวยการ ททท. สำนักงานดูไบ ได้เป็นประธานเปิดงาน Thailand Summer Special Offers 2010 ที่ห้างสรรพสินค้า Al Khalidiya กรุงอาบูดาบี ซึ่งมีขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 18 – 19 มิ.ย. 2553 งานดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อกระตุ้นการขายและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวประเทศไทยในช่วงเทศกาลพักร้อนของยูเออี ตลอดจนฟื้นฟูภาพลักษณ์ของประเทศ ภายหลังเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบทางการเมือง

On 18 June 2010, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon,Thai Ambassador to the UAE together with Mr. Pramoth Supyen, Director of Thai Tourism Authority in Dubai, presided over the opening ceremony of Thailand Summer Festival Special Offers Fair 2010 which was held at Al Khalidiya Mall, Abu Dhabi during 18 – 19 June 2010.

On 5 June 2010, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Thai Ambassador to the UAE led Embassy’s officials and staffs as well as their families to participate in the 1st ASEAN Bowling Tournament 2010 at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi per coordination of the Philippines Embassy.

On 13 June 2010, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Thai Ambassador to the UAE called on Mr. Mohamed Thani Murshid Al Romaithi, Chairman of the Board of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) who was accompanied by several Members of the Board as well as ADCCI’s Executives, to congratulate the former on their assumption of duties and to discuss about the Embassy’s programme in inviting UAE leading businesspersons to visit Thailand on a road show programme.

During 11 – 12 June 2010, H.E. Mr. Somchai Charanasomboon, Thai Ambassador to the UAE had led Embassy’s officials, staffs, and volunteers from Thai Ladies Club in Abu Dhabi to visit Thai communities in Habshan and Ruwais, as part of the Embassy’ annual mobile consular service programme.
