Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan’s visit to Indonesia
27 February - 1 March 2003

                  Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and Director of Saranrom Institute of Foreign Affairs (SIFA), travelled to Jakarta, Indonesia, and held consultations with the Indonesian senior officials on ACD.
                  In the morning of 28 February 2003, Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan met H.E. Dr. Makarim Wibisono, Director General for Asia Pacific and African Affairs, Department of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.  Later in the afternoon, Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan had a meeting with H.E. Dr. N. Hassan Wirajuda, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, during which the former presented the letter from H.E. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, inviting the latter to participate in the Second ACD Meeting between 21-22 June 2003 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.  Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan also met H.E. Mr. Luluk Sumiarso, Director General of Electricity and Energy Utilisation, Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of Indonesia, concerning Indonesia and Bahrain’s ACD energy security project.
