Dubai top businessman seeks business opportunity in Thailand: Mr. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Member of Dubai Executive Council and Board of Executive Economic Council of Dubai, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister. Mr. Sultan highly praised His Majesty’s philosophy of sufficient-economy and was so grateful that His Majesty the King granted him an audience. He also expressed his appreciation in Thai economic development, especially in infrastructure, and informed the Foreign Minister that he was planning to invest in hotel business in Bangkok as he believed in Thailand’s potential.

On 8 May 2007 Mr. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Member of Dubai Executive Council and Board of Executive Economic Council of Dubai paid a courtesy call on Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Foreign Minister. 


Mr. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem expressed his appreciation in Thai economic development, especially in infrastructure development, and would like to apply the Thai experience in building transportation system in Dubai.  Furthermore, he informed the Foreign Minister that he was planning to invest in hotel business in Bangkok because he believed in Thailand’s potential in the future. 


Mr. Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem has closely followed His Majesty the King’s task in improving standard of living of people in the rural area through numerous Royal Development Projects and highly praised His Majesty’s philosophy of sufficient-economy.  He was so grateful that His Majesty the King grants him an audience later in the evening.
