สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองการาจี ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอิสลามาบัด ได้จัดงาน Thailand Presentation ขึ้น เมื่อวันที่ 16 มีนาคม 2552 ณ โรงแรม Pearl Continental เมืองการาจี โดยได้เชิญบริษัทการบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) สำนักงานเมืองการาจี ในฐานะสายการบินแห่งชาติ และทีมประเทศไทย และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานใหญ่ กรุงเทพฯ ในฐานะหน่วยงานหลักด้านการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว มาร่วมด้วย

The Royal Thai Consulate General, Karachi, presents its compliments to all International Airlines, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators in Pakistan, Karachi, and has the honour to inform them that in order to promote tourism to Thailand, all foreigners, includingPakistani nationals, who apply for TOURIST VISA at the Royal Thai Consulate General will be EXEMPTED FROM TOURIST VISA FEES for a period of three months with effect from Thursday 5th March 2009 to Thursday 4th June 2009. Please note that the fees for Non–Immigrant Visa and Transit Visa are not exempted during the above mentioned period.
