On 4 December 2008, Ambassador Pradap Pibulsonggram hosted a reception for the 81st Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Thai National Day at Hotel Parco di Principe in Rome. Around 350 Italian dignitaries and members of diplomatic corp attened the function.
