On Wednesday 21 February 2007, at 10.30 hrs, Mr. Ismael Goulal Boudine, Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti, residence in Tokyo, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Foreign Minister.
                  On this occasion, Ambassador of Djibouti and the Foreign Minister agreed to expand further cooperation in trade and investment between the two countries, as well as to strengthen their bilateral relations, despite the geographical distance between the two countries.  Both sides also agreed to enhance cooperation in medical and tourism, which Thailand has great potential and a policy to provide assistance to various countries through Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA).
