On 10 July 2025, H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conference with China on the sidelines of the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and Related Meetings (AMMPMC58) held in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation under the ASEAN - China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and exchanged views on regional and international issues. Thailand advanced key areas of cooperation including (1) combating transnational crimes, particularly cybercrimes and online scams; (2) advancing regional economic integration, digital economy and green economy; and (3) fostering people-to-people ties, as well as underscored China’s vital role in maintaining good relations among major powers.
