Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland welcomed and briefed about Thailand and the Thai – Polish relations for the students of European Academy of Young Diplomats (AYD) Class 15

On 28 June 2019, H.E. Mrs. Sansanee Sahussarungsi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Poland welcomed about 16 students of the European Academy of Young Diplomats (AYD) from various countries to the Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw and give a briefing about Thailand and Thailand – Poland relations with an emphasis on the dynamics of Thailand towards Thailand 4.0 and the relationship between Thailand and Poland that has expanded relations and cooperation that are close and dynamic in various dimensions as well as the role of Thailand as the ASEAN Chair. In addition, a video about EEC project and the introduction to art, tourism and Thai food was shown to the students. The Embassy has prepared various snacks as well as Pad Thai for the students to understand Thai cuisine and Thai identity which will help to promotes Thailand.
The Academy of Young Diplomats is a one year program to prepare students into diplomatic, government and corporate work in Europe and various international organizations. Since the start of the project in 2004, about 2800 participants from more than 60 countries joined the project. Part of the program are visiting Ambassadors from Embassies in Warsaw and learn from the meeting and listened to the Ambassador briefing. The Royal Thai Embassy in Warsaw joined the project this year for the first time.
