On 24 November 2019, Mrs.Thippawan Supamitkitja, Chargé d'Affaires (CDA), attended Loy Krathong Festival organized by the Australia-Thailand Association (Canberra) – ATA at Thai Lemon Grass Restaurant. Over 150 people including Mrs. Natsuda Pittman, President of ATA, Ms. Annette Ellis, Australian Patron of the Association, ATA Committee Members, ATA Life Members, and Thai community in Canberra participated in this event. There were lots of activities for enjoyment; namely Thai Dance and Loy Krathong.
On this occasion, CDA thanked ATA for organizing this event to promote the rich heritage and culture of Thailand as well as to enhance the unity among the Thai Community in Canberra and create better understanding among the people of the two countries. She also encouraged the Thai community to continue its role as a visible and active member in this multicultural society and help make Canberra and Australia a beautiful and colorful destination.
