Abdul Momen, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on the loss of lives and destruction caused by the Cyclone Amphan.

Excellency,
On behalf of the Government and people of Thailand, I would like to express my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to you, and through you, to the people of Bangladesh affected by Cyclone Amphan. I am deeply saddened by the news on the loss of lives and destruction of infrastructure caused by this natural disaster.
During these difficult times, I wish to express our solidarity with the people of Bangladesh. While we pray for a speedy recovery, I am confident that under your able leadership and the strong spirit of the people, Bangladesh will soon recover from this calamity.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

Excellency,
I have learnt with deep sorrow of the loss of lives and destruction of properties caused by the recent Cyclone Amphan in many areas of Bangladesh. I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere sympathy and condolences to you, and through you, to those affected by this disaster.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims of the cyclone during this time of distress. I remain confident that with the rapid response and management of the Government of Bangladesh, the situation will return to normalcy soon.
