In the event of massive explosions in Beirut, Lebanon on 4 August 2020, H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a message of condolence to H.E. Mr. Hassan Diab, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon and H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a message of condolence to H.E. Mr. Charbel Wehbe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon, as follows
1. Message of condolence from H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to H.E. Mr. Hassan Diab, Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon.
Excellency,
I have learned with profound sorrow of the massive explosions in Beirut on 4 August 2020, which have resulted in many casualties and damages to buildings and properties in the city.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people, I wish to express my deepest condolences and sympathy to you and, through you, to the bereaved families and those who have been affected by this tragic incident. With the resilience of the Lebanese people and your able leadership, I am certain that the Republic of Lebanon will overcome the aftermath of this catastrophe.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

I am deeply saddened to learn of the explosions in Beirut on 4 August 2020, which have resulted in many deaths and injuries.
In this moment of bereavement, we share your and the Lebanese people’s grief. I would also like to extend to you and, through you, to the families of the victims of this unfortunate incident my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences.
