Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs will participate in the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue via video conference to discuss public health cooperation to facilitate safe international travels and tourism, and the promotion of Bio, Circular and Green Economy.

H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, is scheduled to participate in the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) via video conference on 21 January 2021, to be hosted by Turkey as ACD Chair, under the theme “The New Normal and Safe and Healthy Tourism.” The meeting will review progress and discuss future directions of the ACD, during which Thailand will focus on public health cooperation to facilitate safe international travels and tourism as well as the promotion of Bio, Circular and Green (BCG) Economy for sustainable development in Asia in the Post COVID-19 era.

Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) was established in 2002 under the initiative of Thailand, currently comprising 35 Member States from all sub-continents of Asia. The ACD is aimed at serving as a platform to discuss cooperative framework among Asian countries and foster understanding, trust as well as mutually beneficial relations through the consolidation of diverse strengths of each Member State. Thailand is Prime Mover of the Promotion of Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development Pillar.
