On 6 - 8 May 2025, Thailand participated in the 2nd Advisory Centre Operationalization (AC-OP) Meeting in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.

The AC-OP Meetings have been mandated by the United Nations Commission on International Law (UNCITRAL) to discuss operationalization issues concerning the establishment of the Advisory Centre on International Investment Dispute Resolution, which is one of the important reform elements to investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS) system.

The Thai delegation, led by H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, actively engaged in constructive discussions on various issues at the meeting. The Thai delegation also emphasized Thailand’s bid to host the Advisory Centre in Bangkok, which can offer world-class infrastructure, facilities, connectivity, related services, as well as has vast experience hosting more than 40 international organizations, and is a trade and investment hub in ASEAN.
