On 30 June - 3 July 2025, H.E. Mrs. Lalivan Karnchanachari, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, will lead the Thai delegation to the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) in Seville, Kingdom of Spain.

The FfD4 Conference is a key platform under the United Nations framework, aimed at advancing progress toward the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The discussions will focus on critical issues such as revitalising international cooperation, sustainable public debt management, addressing environmental and climate-related risks, enhancing multi-stakeholder collaboration, promoting the multilateral trading system, and reforming the global financial architecture for sustainable development.

Thailand’s participation in this conference underscores the country’s constructive role in the international arena. It reflects Thailand’s commitment to multilateral cooperation, its status as a development partner, and its role as a bridge-builder among various cooperation frameworks. The conference also presents an opportunity to expand partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.

The event is expected to bring together high-level representatives from nearly 180 UN member states, as well as senior officials from international organizations, development banks, the private sector, academia, and civil society.
