On 27-30 June 2013, Ms. Suchitra CHIVARANGKUL, Marketing & Coordinator of the Atlantic Laboratories Corporation Limited, drug manufacturer and exporter from Thailand participated in the 5th Dakar’s International Expo on Health and Medical Equipment. The Company’s pharmaceutical products were displayed at a stand in the Expo, which was the first time that a Thai pharmaceutical company participated in this event.

During her visit to Senegal, Ms. CHIVARANGKUL also paid a courtesy call on Mrs. Busaya Mathelin, Ambassador of Thailand to Senegal and discussed about opportunities for Thai drug companies to penetrate into the Senegalese market as well as the West African region. Ms. CHIVARANGKUL also took this opportunity to conduct a market survey and meet with leading drug importers and distributors in Senegal as well as the National Pharmaceutical Procurement (Pharmacie Nationale d’Approvisionnement - PNA), a national agency under the Ministry of Health and Social Action of Senegal, responsible for organising international tender for drugs and medical equipment in Senegal.
