On 19 February 2014, His Excellency Warawudh Chuwiruch, Thai Ambassador to the UAE, hosted the Asian Ambassadors’ Luncheon for February 2014 at his Residence, which was attended by Ambassadors from 17 Asian countries who are based in Abu Dhabi.

     The luncheon followed a monthly tradition among Ambassadors of Asian countries in the UAE and is hosted on rotational basis. It enables the participants to become more familiar with one another and to exchange business and private matters in a casual atmosphere. Thailand also used this opportunity to promote popular Thai dishes, such as Som Tum (papaya salad), Tom Yum Goong (spicy prawn soup) and Tord Mun Pla (fish cakes).
