On 7-8 May 2014, in the City of San José, H.E. Mr. Surapon Petch-vra, Thai Ambassador to Chile, concurrently accredited to Costa Rica, as Thailand’s special envoy, attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the newly elected President of Costa Rica, Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera, who will be in power during 2014 and 2018. 

 

During the visit to Costa Rica, Ambassador had an opportunity to meet important persons; such as, the President-elect of El Salvador, Chilean Senator and had a working lunch with Mr. Juan Carlos Morales, Thai Honorary Consul in San José and Mr. Chakchinnabud Chuenarom, Director, Thai Trade Center in Mexico during which discussion on how to promote further commercial relations between Thailand and Costa Rica was held.
