Thailand welcomes the agreement reached between Iran and the United Nations’ Permanent 5 + 1; namely the United States of America, the United Kingdom, China, France, Russia and Germany, on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran’s nuclear programme.

          Thailand commends the hard work and enduring efforts of all parties involved in concluding the JCPOA.  The agreement is a historic achievement and marked a positive step towards building long-term peace and security in the region and around the world.
