On 9 November 2016, H.E. Mr. Htin Kyaw, President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, laid a wreath to honor and paid respects to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall inside the Grand Palace and signed a message of condolences.
