On 31 March 2017, Amnesty International, Thailand issued a statement reiterating its position on the case of Mr. Chaiyaphum Pasae calling for an independent, impartial and effective investigation of the case in order to bring those involved to justice.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform that the case is currently under investigation. The relevant authorities are committed to ensure a transparent, impartial and independent judicial process.
