On Saturday 3rd February 2018, H.E. Mr Komate Kamalanavin, Ambassador of Thailand to the UAE  attended the Asia Pacific Food and Craft Bazaar organized by the Asian Group of Spouses of Ambassadors at the Residence of the South Korean Ambassador from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs. The Group is currently led by Mrs Zakia Hasnat, spouse of the Ambassador of Banglasdesh. 

           A total of 14 countries participated namely Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakstan, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand.

           The Royal Thai Embassy has invited the Thai community in Abu Dhabi to participate in the event namely 1) Mrs Sukanya Suthipan, President of the Thai Ladies’Circle in Abu Dhabi to sell Thai handicraft, jewelry, Lipao bags 2) Mrs Buaban C. Tucker, owner of Thai restaurant “Desert Lotus” to sell mango with sticky rice and 3. Mrs Ratima Sri-ruang to sell Thai fruits (mangos, pomelos and coconut). To showcase Thai culture, the Royal Thai Embassy has invited two Muay Thai masters “Master Tim” and “Master Ya”  who are currently working with Abu Dhabi Muay Thai Fitness to demonstrate the art of Muay Thai to the audience.
