On 16 February, the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait and the Thai Club in Kuwait co-hosted annual football tournament “16th TCK Cup” at the football ground of Kuwait University in Adiliya. Around 100 guests attended the event.

          The opening ceremony of the 16th TCK Cup started with the report from Mr. Somnuk Saiprasert, the president of the Thai Club in Kuwait. Then H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait was invited to officially open the event. This year, 6 teams from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Laos participated at the tournament.

          The TCK CUP is an annual event with the main aim to promote friendship and unity among the Thais in Kuwait. This year, students and friends from ASEAN countries were invited to send teams to participate in the game.
