          On 22 February 2018 Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand and H.E. Mr. Shiro Sadoshima, the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, on behalf of the Government of Japan, have co-signed on the Exchange of Notes, the Agreed Minutes on Procedural Details and the Record of Discussions to receive the Government of Japan’s Grant Aid on Economic and Social Development in supporting “Counterterrorism and Public Security” measures to the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand in the amount of 200 million Japanese Yen (approximately 60 million Thai Baht).  Through this Grant Aid,           the Government of Japan will provide the Royal Thai Police with all necessary equipment’s, particularly the Standalone Facial Recognition and Central Facial Matching Systems which  will help in an identification of the criminal suspects.
