On 1 September 2018, the Royal ThaiConsulate General, Karachi and the Department of International Trade Promotion organized the “Thailand Exhibition” at Pearl Continental Hotel, in order to promote Thai products in Pakistan. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Apipan Cheecharoen, Acting Consul General, Mr. Muffasar Atta Malik, Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Arif Suleman, Honorary Trade Advisor to Ministry of Commerce, and Mr. Suesak Dangboonrueng, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka. The exhibition was attended by representatives from various agencies, public and private sectors, diplomatic corps, business owners and press.

          This year’s exhibition was held two consecutive years. With 51  Thai and local exhibitors and 30,000 attendants participated, the Exhibition was considered a huge success in showcasing Thai products in Pakistan.
