The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait and the Thai Club in Kuwait co-hosted annual football tournament “17th TCK (Thai Club in Kuwait) Cup 2019” in February 2019 at Kuwait University’s football field in Adiliya. This year, 8 teams from Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Lao PDR participated in the tournament.

          The semi-final and championship matches were played on 22 February 2019 with 150 supporters from the Thai and ASEAN Communities. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, joined by Ambassador of Cambodia and Ambassador of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, presented the trophies to the participating teams.

          The TCK CUP is an annual event aiming to promote unity and solidarity among Thais in Kuwait as well as friendship between Thais and ASEAN expatriates in Kuwait.
