The Honorable Michael Pompeo, US Secretary of State will be in Thailand on an Official Visit as Guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to participate in the ASEAN Post Ministerial Conferences and Related Meetings during 31 July – 3 August 2019.

 

During his visit, Secretary Pompeo will have a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, to further strengthen the Thai-US relations and close cooperation both at the bilateral and regional levels as well as to exchange views on the regional issues of mutual interests.

This will be the first official visit of Secretary Pompeo to Thailand as the US Secretary of State.

 

The Foreign Minister and the Secretary of State will hold a joint press conference on 1 August 2019 at 17.00 hrs. at Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World.
