Minister of Foreign Affairs exchanges views with India’s academia during his working visit to India

On 30 November 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a discussion with India’s academia from various think tanks, including CSEP, India Foundation and NatStrat, on the margins of the Foreign Minister’s working visit to India.
Both sides held constructive discussions by reaffirming the close ties between Thailand and India, current geopolitical challenges, and complementary Thai and Indian foreign policies. They exchanged opinions on fostering comprehensive cooperation, both bilaterally and in multilateral cooperation frameworks that Thailand and India are a part of, as well as connectivity between South Asia and Southeast Asia with Thailand and India as key players. Both sides also discussed security issues and joint efforts to address emerging threats, as well as exchanged views on the Thailand - Cambodia situation border and the situation in Myanmar.
