On 11 June 2025, H.E. Ms. Chayika Wongnapachan, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and H.E. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with H.E. Mr. Ari Krainara, Secretary to the Minister of Labor, Mr. Samapha Pathamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, and Mrs. Dvora Dorsman Yarkoni, Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the State of Israel to Thailand, attended a solemn ceremony for Mr. Nattapong Pinta, the Thai hostage who perished in Gaza, held at Suvarnabhumi Airport. His body will be returned to his hometown for further religious ceremony.

The Royal Thai Government expresses its profound condolences to his family, and reiterates our call for the retrieval of the remaining 2 deceased Thai hostages. Thailand also calls on all relevant parties to exert all efforts to lead to a peaceful resolution of the conflict and resolve the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
