On 30 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from H.E. Ms. Megi Fino, Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, to express her condolences for the earthquake that occurred in Myanmar and Thailand.

The Deputy Minister expressed her condolences for the earthquake that affected Thailand and offered assistance to the Thai government. In response, the Vice Minister expressed gratitude to Albania for the concern and sympathy regarding the incident and informed that the relevant Thai authorities have already taken the necessary steps to provide assistance to those affected. In addition, Thailand has extended aid to Myanmar, which also experienced significant damage from the earthquake.
