On 13 May 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Mr. Pedro Zwahlen, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Thailand, on topics related to humanitarian aid and current global trends.
They discussed in particular, the situation of displaced persons worldwide, and the role and mandate of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in finding durable solutions for various groups. They also exchanged views on related multilateral issues, including the current global trend on decreasing humanitarian aid.
