On 2 August 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affaris, delivered an opening remarks at the Official Launch of the Regional Capacity Building Workshop of the eMpowering Youths Across ASEAN (EYAA) Programme: Cohort 4 at Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok. This event was organised by the ASEAN Foundation and Maybank Foundation, and was attended by approximately 120 youth representatives from all ASEAN countries.

On this occasion, the Vice Minister expressed his appreciation to the organisers for running the Programme for the past 6 years, which has helped promote cultural exchange and build a strong youth network through social development projects. The Programme has also helped support ASEAN's community-building efforts in promoting a more unified, people-centered and cohesive ASEAN under the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, which ASEAN is in the process of developing. In addition, at the event, H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN in Jakarta, also participated as a panelist at the Fireside Chat on ASEAN101.
