On 13 July 2021, H.E. Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Al-Hajeri, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a virtual courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, to bid farewell on the occasion of his completion of duty. Both sides reaffirmed the close ties between Thailand and Bahrain, especially on politics, and trade and investment, as well as collaboration and support in the international fora.
