On 7 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, attended a reception marking the 204th Anniversary of the Independence of the Federative Republic of Brazil at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

The Vice Minister extended his congratulations to the Government and people of Brazil and highlighted the positive trajectory of Thailand-Brazil relations over the past 67 years, marked by steady progress in high-level exchanges, trade and investment cooperation, as well as close people-to-people ties.

The Vice Minister also reaffirmed the commitment of Thailand and Brazil to working together to further deepen their relations and translate their partnership into concrete outcomes across all areas, particularly in the economic, agricultural, and energy sectors, where Brazil possesses considerable strengths and expertise with significant potential for future cooperation between the two countries.
