On 7 - 8 April 2026, Ms. Chatvadee Chindawongse, Deputy Director-General of the Department of ASEAN Affairs, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials’ Meeting (ASEAN SOM), the Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Commission (SEANWFZ ExCom), and the 19th Meeting of the ASEAN Coordinating Council Working Group (ACCWG) on Timor-Leste’s Application for ASEAN Membership in Manila, in preparation for the upcoming 48th ASEAN Summit in May 2026.
