On 9 October 2025, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, had a discussion with Mrs. Lirija Berisha, Charge d'affaires a.i., Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo to Thailand, who paid a courtesy call on the occasion of her assumption of duty.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the cordial and dynamic relations between Thailand and Kosovo over the past 12 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2013. Over the years, there have been increasing exchanges of high-level visits, rising bilateral trade, and a growing number of Kosovar tourists visiting Thailand. The Charge d'affaires also expressed Kosovo’s readiness to host the first Bilateral Consultations between the two countries in Pristina to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, and tourism, as well as to promote closer people-to-people engagement, in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
