In addition, the Thai side informed Slovenia about the situations in Myanmar and the Thai - Cambodian border situation, as well as reaffirmed Thailand’s principled actions in pursuing the matter under the Ottawa Convention, particularly in the areas of demining and Thailand’s counter position against Cambodia’s violation of obligations under the Convention since Thailand is fully committed to international principles and implementation under the Convention. The Thai side also reiterated its call on the international community to do as much as possible to bring Cambodia back to full compliance with the Convention.
