On 29 November 2024, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director General of the Department of International Organizations, had a meeting with Mrs. Kyungsun Kim, United Nations Children’s Fund Representative in Thailand.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Thailand and UNICEF in providing assistance to the vulnerable population on the Thailand – Myanmar border, especially in the areas of education and public health. The UNICEF expressed its readiness to support the Thai government’s endeavour in promoting the development and the protection of the rights of all children.
