On 9 April 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Ms. Cynthia Veliko, Regional Representative of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Regional Office for Southeast Asia.

Both sides exchanged views on the promotion and protection of human rights of all persons, environmental issues and their impact on human rights, ways to strengthen cooperation in capacity-building to support Thailand’s human rights efforts, as well as preparation for Thailand’s 4th cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) national report.
