On 25 November 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had a discussion with Ms. Tammi Sharpe, Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Thailand.
Both sides exchanged views on the cooperation between UNHCR and Thailand in implementing the Royal Thai Government’s policy in allowing Myanmar Displaced Persons (MDPs) to work outside temporary shelters for MDPs and Thailand’s participation in the Global Refugee Forum Progress Review 2025 during 15 - 17 December 2025 in Geneva, as well as related Thailand’s side events.
