On 2 October 2025, Mr. Chulvat Narinthrangura, Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), had a discussion with Mr. Cyrille Bellier, Head of the Asia, Middle East, and Europe Department of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), on the occasion of his visit to Thailand.

Both sides were pleased with the continued progress in Thailand - France development cooperation under the current TICA - AFD Work Plan for 2023 - 2025, and discussed the formulation of a new five-year Work Plan for 2026 - 2030, which will include the possibility of expanding collaboration to trilateral projects in Africa in the future.

In addition, the Director-General also attended the reception celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of AFD’s Office in Thailand, held at the Residence of the French Ambassador. He expressed congratulations on the close diplomatic relations between Thailand and France, as well as commended the long-standing partnership between TICA and AFD over the past 20 years.
